Do you have to file a tax return?
SPT (Annual Tax Return. SPT is a letter that must be filled out and reported by the taxpayer (WP) to the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) to report income, tax calculations and tax payments made.

Types of personal annual tax return forms
You should know that the SPT form is divided into two parts, namely annual SPT and periodic SPT. However, for personal income tax reporting needs, the discussion will focus on the annual tax return.
The annual SPT form for individuals is divided into 3 which are:
- Form 1770 SS: Individual taxpayers with annual income less than or equal to IDR 60 million. Designated for employees who have worked for at least one year.
- Model 1770 S:
– Individual taxpayers with an annual income of more than IDR 60 million.
-Employees who work in two companies (even though the income is less than 60 million) - Form 1770: Individual taxpayers with worker status as business owners or workers with certain skills and no employment ties.

How to Report Taxes Online: Personal Annual Tax Return
This year, you can report your SPT until March 31, 2024. For those of you who are reporting your SPT for the first time, here we explain how to report taxes online for your personal annual SPT.
- Visit the djponline.pajak.go.id page, then log in to access your personal account.
- You can log in by entering your NPWP/NIK number, password and verification code.
- After entering the control panel, click on the “Report” tab.
- After entering the “Report” tab, click on the “E-Fill” service.
- You will be redirected to the e-fill dashboard. Next, click on the “Create SPT” tab.
- On this page, several questions will appear that must be answered. This question will help taxpayers choose the appropriate SPT form.
- In the last question, please click “With Form” so you can fill out the SPT form online on that page. Alternatively, taxpayers can select “With Guidance” to receive guidance when filling out the SPT form in the DJP e-file.
- When you're done, click the yellow button below it.
- The SPT form that must be filled out appears. If so, click the Next button.
- Next, the taxpayer is asked to fill in the name of third party income tax holder/collector or PPh borne by the government. This information can be obtained from Form 1721 A1 or 1721 A2 obtained from the company or government body you work for (for employees).
- Then proceed to fill in the net income or fill in the amount of net income received. This information is also on Forms 1721 A1 or 1721 A2.
- Fill out the form completely as instructed.
- If successful, you will receive proof of electronic reporting via the email registered to your account.
